  This is the type of thing that really annoys me, people come to our country of their own free will and should accept what has been fought for by generations.
  
  If they do not like our laws let them go home to their mother country this is one change that is not for the better in fact it is a backward step.

  i cannot understand the thinking by the law society on this one it is totally against the way of thinking from any reasonable person.

  One of the things our forbears fought for was an open and tolerant society.
  Obviously we are still fighting for that part.
  
  Guidance notes from the Law Society do not 'enshrine' anything in English Law. Only Parliament and the higher courts can do that. Oh, and bureaucrats across the channel of course.

  All that is happening is that guidance is being given to British solicitors who get involved with drawing up and executing inheritance claims from those with Islamic Wills.
  
  There are many nationalities Wills currently being handled by British lawyers which conform to different laws than those that govern our inheritance rules. In Italian law the eldest son in a family inherits the lot and even the surviving spouse has to make a claim for any part of it!
  
  So this guidance does not mean an acceptance of other countries laws but just enables Solicitors to get involved with their Will problems according to their laws.
  Do nothing and nothing happens.
