So we had The Tunnel base up at Connaught Barracks, which I see will hit Sky Atlantic soon, but what's been filmed up there now?
Lots of mirrors and lights, much like a massive dressing room, in one of the sheds.

Ah, you bubble-burster you, Howard. Removing the last vestige of innocence from the viewer.
They may well be back again. The event mentioned on the Location-Finder's web site took place back in May. There are probably good reasons for them not keeping us informed right up to the minute, for both production and insurance costs would rise if the public were to be generally fore warned.
Obviously, even where there is a great deal of castle, there is never enough.

Presumably this has something to do with the filming of the new Disney film, Into the Woods, with Johnny Depp. The advertising for the extras said they had to be available for 25 & 26 September.

I've also noticed that the castle has not been lit up for the last couple of nights. I hope it's something to do with the filming, and not cost cutting!

Lots of action at the barracks today. Many vehicles coming and going. Even what look like a couple of press photographers hanging around the fencing area at one point. It would seem the castle is the location for filming and barracks the base.

i seem to have missed out on this one, the film companies loss as i feel i would have been the definitive extra.

THey did phone me back and said there was a part for me but in the end I had to turn them down and that was for the second time,I have had my name down on the webb site for extra now for some years,but forgot to take it off.try ,put your name down but the parts can be anywhere in the UK.

Filming up at the castle for the new Disney production, Into the Woods, continues tonight. Premier at the new Dover cinema?! Great to see such a high profile film being made in Dover with some real Hollywood A-listers in town.
