I'd love to see this implemented over here?

That said, having watched Dover last night I am not so sure I would inflict that on anyone!

mark;
i watched dover last night
fans were great with regard to dave bell last night and vocal
dover had a fairly good first half
but the second half was not much to write home about.
in these troubled times shows who the true supporters are sticking by the club.
the club i feel has some major decisions to make over the coming months

I HAVE watched the footy situation at crabble closely, and tried to avoid any negative comments in the interest of the club.
trying therefore to paint a more positive image
i fully realise the position of the club and decisions that need to be made
i hope its resolved soon, the crowd dover has is one of the best supported in non league and deserve better.
lets stick in there

Keith
it was quite a small crowd by Crabble standards and I actually became resentful that I had given up my time (and £12!!!!) to watch a dismal performance.
Anyway, what about women and children only at football matches? Perhaps Man United could be the first in light of the display by some of their fans last night.

MARK
I don't disagree and handing over that £12 comes hard in todays climate
and with a performance like last night will see the crowd dip.
The reaction of the crowd on the substitution, and at the end of the game said it all.
but through the good and bad times

12 quid a throw is well over the top for the level they play that, i seem to remember that they charged the same for pre season friendlies.
the lower you go down the leagues the more matches and competitions there seems to be.
dover athletic have to be very careful with their pricing, families cannot go to many matches.
you have to catch the kids early otherwise they will support the team they fancy playing on the box.
This Saturday at the home match up to 4 children under 16 will be allowed in free with a paying adult

Paul
that would help boost attendance figures but it might also constitute child abuse if the performance doesn't improve! On the plus side it might help the little darlings sleep.
Call me a fair weather supporter but I like to feel I am getting value for my money or at least be entitled to a refund if what I purchase doesn't live up to its trade description.

yep i know what your saying Mark and the pressure is certainly on now to start performing.
I had to make my debut on the PA Tuesday night at about 20 minutes notice hopefully i wont get asked again

good to hear that you are now a media player paul, a word to the wise though.
next time that you grab the microphone at crabble it is best not to make any disparaging comments about women and the offside rule.
seen other careers go downhill.
damn now you tell me
