There was a / missing from the link
http://www.dover-express.co.uk/New-DTIZ-scheme-Dover-town-centre-revealed/story-19491053-detail/story.html
I'm sure this article first appeared over a week ago, there's not really anything "revealed",

indeed it is a rehash, on another thread a week or two back i noticed that the there was an amendment to the planning application which suggested that a large retailer was planning to come on board.

The Express must be short of space if they're still warbling on about the DTIZ.
The latest report is:
Burlington House is still there, the multi storey is still boarded up, Centurion House hasn't been demolished and the plants on the MFI site are over 6 feet high.
Cue handwringing and mutterings about compulsory purchase, lawyers, cinemas, hotels blah blah blah

Less a 'DTIZ', more an 'SSSI', what with all the plant growth. We stand more chance of development if Wildlife Kent were to take over the site...

Less DTIZ, more ZZZZZ, I'd wager.
Let's just rename Dover town centre 'Coming-Soon-On-Sea' and be done with it.

Reading the report, I'm curious as to where they going to find this extra 10 square metres.
There is an increase of 68 in retail floor space but they are only losing 5 parking spaces.
This could hold everything up!
