the communities bod and friend of barry, mr eric pickles has issued new rules for council that come into play today.
councils can only send out their newsletters 4 times a year, parishes can still produce monthly.
this is intended to be of assistance to local media, furthermore any money spent on hiring lobbyists has to stop and be redirected to frontline services.
not sure if any of that applies to d.d.c though.

Not really Keith. Its reigning back on Council propaganda sheets and their cost. Quite sensible really and it will save a few trees.

Not really Keith , remember the recent exchange about purdah, Dover Athletic FC & yourself. Makes the point.

That's the point Keith. You are so sanctimonious you don't recognise them but in reality don't accept them.
You have always managed to stir but delivery was always where you have been found wanting.

Yes I like both the D.D.C.and town council newsletters, I would like both to stay.
A twice yearly news letter would be a good compromise .

Howard #15 I confess I very seldom read this junk mail, I know when the rubbish is collected and if it is going to change I get a notice through the letterbox.
If they must do this self congratulation newsletter it could be on a sheet of typed A4 no need for an expensive all colour glossy.
