New arrivals at howletts

  this litter of capybara pups were born last month and are enjoying their new surroundings.
  
  the largest of the rodent species they have shorter front than back legs and have 4 toes on each of the front legs but only 3 on the back.

  Ah now...they're cuddly little fellas. People will want to take them home, so best that the zoo keeps an eye on them.

  Well some might, I prefer something more cuddly.

  i thought they would be appealling all round jan, never heard of the little devils before today.
