    Alexander, you have put quotation marks around something that DDC obviously didn't say, and there was significant public consultation. The outline proposals were a set of documentation that sat about two feet high and were sent to all parish councils that were adjacent and likely to be affected, not just Whitfield.

    As far as I am aware Whitfield parish council have accepted that the development will go ahead and are working to get the best out of it for the village. Lydden parish council have voted to support Whitfield parish council in their views, so as Vic is a member of both (once he eventually deserts a River parish council meeting to sign on at Lydden ) then he's going to be at loggerheads with both councils.
