The post you are reporting:
Let me take a slightly different outlook,
We have before seen that the threads that have most postings are the political ones, now whilst some posters say they are pointless, and they are not interested in them, often the same people post on them, and in fact give often, some very good viewpoints.
Whilst I may not agree with some posters and some not with me we have been here loads of times,
as Jan says everyone has a right to read whatever posts they wish, and post on whatever they wish thats the beauty of the open forum.
Moving on to Scotchie's point on negativity, in all honestly like scotchie doesn't like political posts(even though he often posts on them, i dislike scotchie's attacks on alexander But like i say its all about choice people can post if they wish on whatever thy wish, or not at all.
And they can read all threads, or some threads, all choice.
The problems we have on Dover, is that many will talk up Dover when that need arises, but we should also recognise (if we accept the point) Dover's decline.
I realise out there we will always have posters that want an impossible change to Dover, and no matter what happens they will be negative and thats part of many forumites make up.
