M k shepherds used to do clock repairs and if not I am sure they would point you in the right direction.

Then you could try these people a friend had a grand father clock refurbished by them, they should be able to help but not cheap.

going to have a look at it myself cost of getting someone to just look at, before any repairs are done is over£300 to much for me.

Found out why it will not work it has 3 chains with a weight on each one of them the two out sides are working but the middle one does not so now I have to find out why

Having watched the clock expert Steve on the Repair Shop a possible cause could be a faulty cog which will cause the chain not to function properly or a worn bush.
