I can tell you that the National Vote for the above will be on the same date as the Locals in May and the voting will be done Regional and not National,and the vote count will be at 4.00pm on Friday the 6th of May at the Dover town Hall. the count for the locals will be again on Friday from 0900hrs till 4.00pm at the Town hall.

alternative vote vic, you are right in the main.
means people round here will be asked to cast 8 votes at one time, could lead to confusion.

It will not be on the same voting paper, so it should be OK,you will find it all out before the polling day,it is going to be in the papers etc.

I must say this that the D,DC do have the best election staff one could aske for, they are always on the ball.

I have heard some passion expressed on AV, but for the life of me I cannot fathom what a third, fourth, fifth...choice might be. Why would anyone choose the other of the big two as second option when they have picked either of them as their first choice?
