  The national news over this Christmas and New Year holiday period has been very depressing with the amount of violence etc. I am sure that there must have been some happier news somewhere.

  the only violence i saw over the feastive period was the wind damage to my niegbours fence,the wind came back today and finished the job.the fence is now a pile of firewood.

  Look on the bright side, Chris Huhne, minister for gravity, expensive energy and appointing lackeys to tell us that the world is doomed because of chuff chuff trains and motor cars will most likely be prosecuted some time very soon for his part in an alleged speeding offence.
  Well it made my Christmas anyway.
