Last night to my utter delight and pride, my beautiful daughter Honor, already Junior Miss Dover for Dover Carnival Association received the prestigious title of Miss Junior Guild at the National Carnival Guild selection. Should anyone wish to find out any further information regarding this organisation please see their website

Not sure what this entails yet as most of the members seem to be in London and Essex. All we really know at the moment is we have one happy daughter (although Lilith was a little stunner at Faversham last night) and a busy year ahead. Details will be forthcoming.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

Congratulations Honor

Tomorrow afternoon after school Honor will be visited by the photographer from the Dover Mercury for a photo shoot (get her, lol!) So hopefully that'll mean she'll be in the paper this Thursday. Watch this space for photo's from us too.
Howard, I do hope she gets to travel around the country (and take me with her lol!)

Great shot there. I can only assume that Robin was off stuffing his face, he doesn't like photographs as much as the girls.

The precious girls are a delight to photograph, very happy little girls and so at ease with the camera lens, oh! so professional!
Well done Honor on your new title, Miss Junior Guild, I'm sure you will do them proud. You must be very excited about your photo shoot this afternoon with the Mercury, they certainly do have their finger on the pulse, they featured Saskia last Thursday too. Enjoy your afternoon Honor xxxxx

Apparently Honor was mentioned on the local radio this morning, what an exciting time this is. Unfortunately I didn't know about it and therefore didn't hear it so if anyone knows how I can access it on the internet I'd be very grateful.

Honor is on page 5 of the Mercury this week. A lovely piece it even has a name check for me... (I don't get in the paper very much lol!) I thought you might like to see the photo's Chris took of the Mercury photographer taking Honor's photograph, what fun!!
And of course the young lady herself
