    I can speak on this as lead member for the Musuem and Chairman of the Council.Roger is correct the paintings are rotated .Im having three taken out of storage to replace some of the paintings in my office .There are several on display in the Musuem ,Dover Town Council offices and various offices at DDC.

    This has been discussed previously .Once an assett is sold it is lost forever .

    I could refer posters to the thread re DHB .

    The paintings were given to the people of the district for safe keeping .Some have been purchased over the years
