Some parents seem to think it is better for their children to be brought up to be aggressive, in order to cope in today's society.

We were brought up to think that kindness and consideration are very important; these qualities too, can be of great benefit to your social life - how you feel about other people - and ultimately how they feel about you.

Rudeness, bad behaviour, swearing, crime, selfishness, and inconsideration for others do seem to be the norm in many of our TV programmes, not to mention the internet.
I wonder how many schools teach children about good behaviour? or do they just try to ignore the problems.
