We are both off out now,we are in the friends of Dover Castle and tonight they have Arranged for the Friends a Special "Mystery Tour"at 1800hrs. We both have had a long and some times hard working life and now it is over we are going out more and having fun with each other"I know what you are all thinking with that remark"
We have just got back a very good tour,tonights tour was the old officers mess,in 1952 I was the newsboy for up there taking the officers papers each night and weekends ,it is not the building today that it was all them years ago,all bear walls now and no upper floors we even went down in the big basement they are still keeping alot of the old fixing just in case one day they can get the funding to get the building back to what it was in the 1950s.
