  Well I was right about the house, All the shops were open and the same when I was aboy it the late 40s.50s 60s then it all kick off now look at it. At that time bus ,cars they all went both ways in London Rd, and you had to run for your life to get to the other side,great days they were.

  Are they all definately Dover Paul? The stained glass window one above looks very interesting and are you able to read any of the writing on the flag?

  Don't know why but Elvington comes into mind... the appearance of the pebble-dash and the windows (c.1920s??)
