    Well at 0900hrs I was marched between two Regimental policeman and the cpl of the guard over to the CO office,standing out was the R.S,M "Pte Matcham"! he shouted"Take your hat and belt off"
    He then open the door of the CO office and I was frog marched into the office and sitting behind a table was the CO and two other officers .
    Then the R.S,M, read out the charge"Pte Matcham while out on patrol got into a truck and went to sleep. sir."How do you plead Matcham"said the CO.
    "Guilty or not Guilty?"

    "I am Guity sir"
    "Right Matcham because this a very serious charge you can go for a Court Martial or take the punishment I give you."
    "I will take the punishment you give me sir I have no wish to go in front of a Court Martial."
    "Right march him out keep him under guard outside while we look at his records and talk about what punishment he will get."
    So that is what happen .
