It was the very next day after drill I was called into the office and was told by the sgt,"Well done Matcham you have passed all the test at both your schooling and in music so in two weeks time you are to take the examination for Kneller hall."As from today apart from your time playing in the full band you are free to get on with your music with both your violin and clarinet and I am now going to give you the notes about the examination and what you must pass to get to kneller hall.Go away and read up and learn and good luck."
Well must say I was feeling good about even getting this far ,there was not much hope of passing the big one ,but still feeling good about it.
Well it is 0345 in the morning so I am off to bed more of my story later on.
