Lots of public there to see us playing up and down,Well I was marching behind one of the two big bass drummer that were banging out the beat we was to march at,! what happen then takes some beating
one of the bass drummers put his foot down a hole
and the rest of us behind him was falling over him the bandmaster nor the drum major up at the front did not know what was happing behind them
at the end of the field they done a about turn to come back and run into us trying to get back up on our feet.
and ones that had got up were trying to run after the band to get back in their places.All the public and the children watching us was falling over in fits of laughing and shouting out at us..
