    He then went on to tell me in his younger days he had been a bandsman in the army and it was a good life.
    He also know about me playing the violin for some years and at that very time on my days off I was playing alot round Dover in church halls etc.
    He went on to say that both him and my dad were thinking my best move would be to join up.
    So I left the cinema and some days later I found myself in Roper rd in Canterbury sighing on as a boy bandsman in the Buffs and I enlisted in Canterbury on the 7th of July 1958 at just 16 years old.NOW I was in the real army my number you never for get it as long as you live was 2352---- I will not tell you the full number. but there is eight numbers.
    As I have already said the next posting or two you might find upseting but they are true.
