  must be stressful for the crew/staff, difficult to plan ahead with uncertainty hanging over them.

  brian, going back a while i knew of a company in trouble and the chairperson called the staff in the last working day before christmas and told the staff he had some bad news but would not tell them then as it might ruin their christmas!!!!

  Everything to do with Business and bad news happens before or around christmas... Must be to do with all the end of the year business..
