  I think the Key point should be about the fact that many are going to loose there jobs if this service is forced to shut. There is nothing wrong with stiff competition after all how many supermarkets are in the small radius of Dover how many plumbers, electricians, Cafés, clothes shops etc etc etc, this is just sheer political greed by bug ass companies getting upset and throwing there toys out of the pram. It's better to have competition to keep prices down, it's been proven on many accounts that a small single company struggles or doesn't survive operating a service on the channel route, it's better that a company with solid routes operates a service for secure stability for it's staff and custom, I have traveled with all
  Services from the Docks all with excellent service.
