08:5784708Guys just to let people know I am unable to contact anyone as my MsnMail is not accessible. Rather oddly the whole of MSN appears to be unreachable...so I have seen no email today. I have a feeling my inbox may be busy, but alas I am unable to see any of it. I was out yesterday too so am a bit behind.
So if you have dropped me an email bear with me til the system restores itself.
I dont know...in these days of rampant paranoia maybe they have been targeted by the Cyber Hackers. MSN is american of course so as a consequence could be considered worth attacking by some.

10:1184722Ian I have now advanced beyond steam power, and now even have broadband, and am currently uranium propelled !!

..so how about that!
I get all my plutonium from the Iran spilloffs, the stuff they dont need for their nuuculeeer weapons of mass destruction!
I really like the MSN service but in recent times I must admit it has gone askew once or twice. Hoepfully it will be back on before too long so that I can read all the complaints in the comfort of my own home!!

18:5785011They offered that to me as well Melissa as I use the internet and e mail a lot doing media stuff / working from home, only trouble was they 'accidently' added £400 to the bill!! I told them thanks but no thanks after that one!

19:0085015Really? blimey i would of made sure i got compensation for that mistake lol, i had to take the tech offer up as last month my internet just wouldnt work, i rang up virgin media to be told beacause it was a fault with the windows or something the normal lot couldnt help me just another way of scamming us .

19:0685018They did after I pointed it out (a few times!!) That and the time they replaced something in the main box in the street (it had flooded) and they 'forgot' to reconnect me!! Mostly it's good though. I use Outlook to open my e mail as initially when Virgin changed the e mail system earlier this year a lot of my mail was ending up in the new (they forgot to mention) spam folder which is only accessed by logging onto the Virgin page (I have my own separate spam folder.) I only discovered the fact after I hadn't received any e mail for a day and a half which was most odd. It was eventually resolved after a few err....words on the phone.

19:2585027The odd time I have had a problem with Virgin my monthly payment has gone down, I am now paying £20 per month less than I should. I have always found them very helpful.

19:4885034I know a lot of people grumble about AOL, but I've been with them for about 15 years and the only problem I have, is about sending bulk emails.

08:0485100Yes, could well be Howard. 15 years is quite a long time and it's over 8 years since we left the B & B.
The guy who bought it didn't want anything to do with the internet - marketing or emails, so I kept it. I still get the occasional booking inquiry and some call me Mr. Linden.
