  Thank you, Martin. If Thanet Council can turn down the trade, I wonder why Dover can't. But it's the b***** boat for me most of all. In a previous life I used to punt. The Joline is about as suitable on an open sea, I'd say.
  And I know the forum has a similar view. I don't know why the media haven't made more of it, though. What will distressed or dying livestock do for the port, or the town, or Visit England?
