  doesn't really bother me either way but evidently many people have strong opinions on it.
  
  i don't know of any local shops that have it.

  I never use Superdrug anymore because of the intrusive rubbish pop music that is always playing. Can't hear myself think! I would stay and browse and spend if it weren't for that but as it stands I refuse to use the shop.
  
  And another thing! HSBC play some annoying HSBC DJ-led radio rubbish that annoys and distracts more than anything. Drives me out, and when I absolutely have to use the premises (when they are open and without a queue halfway round the shop) it grates like emery.

  i have never noticed that in superdrug not that i go in there that often, surprised that banks play the stuff.
  
  i am beginning to think that maybe many premises play muzak and i have become immune to it.

  Howard, I have tinnitus and the muzak still penetrates and annoys!

  It really annoys me. I like music but I like to choose what what I listen to and when I listen to it.
