The festival was opened yesterday (Friday) by Charlie Elphicke with a one hour show in Dover Town Hall. The show was a written and performed by the children of the Aspen 2 unit and represented the five senses in song and dance performances.
The hard work the children put into the performance was proven worthwhile in the brilliant performances they all put in. It was a wonderful and moving show and showed Dover as a town with talent to spare. Well done to all the pupils and staff of Aspen 2 for showing that 'special needs' can also mean all of our special need to encourage such talent and enthusiasm.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

If it was Deal Festival, why in Dover Town Hall and why showing Dover as a Town with talent (it has as we've seen in various concerts); should I read Deal for the two mentions of Dover ?

the title of the festival refers to deal but the link speaks of dover and deal.
