    there are a few points here

    whilst i appreciate the decision by an officer(which i can only presume to be the case) this moves towards an officer led council, and does call into question the need for cllrs.

    you are correct not every decision comes before cllrs but this was a major change from the last election and this present administration did a publicity stunt prior to and after the election stating they would never charge and labour saying it will change were incorrect.

    now whilst this may well have been forced upon them and we have a number of posters from the present administration that post on here
    not one(if they were aware) made any posting on it until howard broke the news.
