  spotted this earlier, the vegetation has finally been removed.

  Good to see this happening. Steps need to be taken now on some of the establishments around the town. Its a very mild winter so we may well have an early spring with an influx of visitors early.

  Could this be an Olympic sport? I imagine towns across the country are being spruced up ahead of the TV cameras' arrival later this year.

  The work is due to start next month on the fascade to incorporate the TIC into the arches so I think they are probably tidying up ready for that to take place
