Well with the help of the excellent artists of the White Cliffs Creative Guild the London Road Community Forum arranged for this mural to be set up outside the Charlton Centre last June. It's a case of finding willing persons with the talent, materials, time and the property owners permission. If done well murals can look very attractive.
I quite like the new Dover Pride organised display in the old indoor market at Bench street as it consists of arty depictions of the castle in different mediums. Much nicer than the previously obscure images balls of wool and grannies knitting.
I'd certainly welcome historical murals too - if anyone is willing to do them!
