  With the greatest possible respect, Peter, that isn't anything to do with integration into the British way of life. It;s to do with a country being deeply suspicious of a nation that has perpetrated atrocities on them. But we won't go into that too far - just to point out that it is "foreigners" integrating into Britain we are on about, not the Brits being accepted elsewhere!! Different kettle of fish!
