Can someone help me in this....
I am using MS Office 2003 and I am trying to download information from an Access Database to a Publisher document.
When doing so with a date it appears on the Publisher Doc in American notation (today for instance 03/22/2010)
I need it in British format. The language is set correctly in both Access and Publisher.
I know there is a way to do it, something about 'toggling' and inputting some code, I have done it before in Word docs but I have lost my notes on how to do it.
Can someone out there please help?

Just an update on the above. I have discovered by trial and error how to 'do' the toggle thing (which works in Word) but it does not work in the publisher programme!
The date is on Access as, say: 22 Mar 2010 and translates to 03/22/2010 in Publisher.

Probably because Publisher was never intended to work with Access, whereas Word and Excel do. You may have to do a number to text conversion of some description before importing from Access. I've always found date/time formatting a pain in the backside at the best of times.

Actually Phil the mail merge on Publisher is a lot easier to use than on Word, the only problem is this date issue....
