Howard in Gwyn's case and I think Im right here...its just that the Daily Telegraph havent got round to him yet. His totals are printed on his website as we know, but the totals are not really what concerns people but what the totals were spent on. Thats the real crux. Next week could bring startling revelations about Gwyn but lets hope not.

It is intended that the breakdowns be published by the government in due course, but the feeling is that the government would not have published the warts and all stuff that the Daily Telegraph have been doing. This has got to be one of the bigger newspaper stories ever. Worth remembering that our good friends in the press often get a generalised kicking but without them none of this would ever be known, we would all be none the wiser and the happy bunfest of gluttonous excess would have gone on forever in the corridors of power.

Gordon Brown took some credit for the revelations today when he noted on the Andrew Marr show that he was responsible for bringing in the freedom of information act.
