    IE, Chrome, Firefox are all much the same and down to preference, all prone to glitches on different machines, a new update will be ok for the majority but may screw up a few.
    Uninstall and then re-install is the first action.

    Personally I stick to IE and use the free Microsoft Essentials. Adding other browsers is not always the best option and can cause conflicts on older machines.
