One has often luxuriated there, taking in the genteel but rather well to do elegance. As they say above, built in 1924 when the British Empire still ruled the roost..ermm kind of..and all the pretty young flappers writers and artists of old Blighty used to congregate there in fine style, nipping across the channel at will in the aeronautic wonders of the new age. Im sure I saw Hercule there on my last trip.
I dont mind, it must be said, an occasional sojourn on the terrace there sipping the oul pink gin and watching the well off ladies strolling by in their Parisian finery.

I'm thinking with Big Birthday & Mothers Day all in the same week for me, coming up real soon, I rather fancy that I'm about to be whisked off to this luxurious Hotel which is one of my favourite places to stay but alas I think I'm just dreaming, if only!

The vintage cars that PaulB posted were taken in Deauville last Summer and there were some vintage Jaguars etc taken outside the Premier Inn around the same time, you'll find both in Recent Features.

Here is a lovely one, a Delahaye, and note the gorgeous building behind which is the Normandie Hotel.
I needed Kens help naming a number of the cars last year.
