Saw these two yesterday morning, not often you get to see a Jay feeding it's young, so I grabbed the compact and shot these through the double glazing, not perfect I grant you but better then nothing!
Great pictures, not often we see Jays where I am and they are such colourful birds.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I cannot remember seeing a Jay let alone one feeding its young, in a similar vein I saw a moorhen and chick by the bridge that separates our newly re-opened police station and the riverside centre.
I wouldn't have spotted it but there were people leaning over the wall pointing excitedly at it, the chick must have been not much bigger than a fifty pence coin.
Jays are also in my garden at this time as I said any of you who would like to take photos please come out anytime we are here and use my bunker make yourself tea etc sit there all day the wild life will come right up to you/
