I see that they are going to be open on Sundays from 09.00 to 18.00.
Have the rules changed? I can't believe that it's a "small" store. Don't say it's something to do with the Olympic bloody games!!

Yes it is, for 8 weeks while the Olympics is on.

asda announced the same thing a week or more ago, rules relaxed because of the influx of visitors to the games.

you're right ian the placard outside says that, i feel sorry for the staff at these stores having to work these extra hours.
it was the same over the 4 day jubilee weekend.

I work at Morrisons on the night shift so it won't directly affect me, although I'm sure there are some who are on the day and evening shifts that may have something to say.
I'm assuming the rotas have been sorted out for those weeks that we're open longer as some may want the extra hours and others who are quite happy as they are.
