 - Just returned from an excellent weekend at the PitStop hotel near Bishop's Stortford, Herts. We stayed in the Art Deco style room which was beautiful. The owner has a huge collection of Morgan cars which can also be hired or you can just drool over them..........

 - I loved the pink one too Melissa, it's called The Pink Lady. Howard, Melvin Rutter the hotel owner has been in the car business for most of life. He now has a Morgan dealership, repair shop and also hires the cars out. Because he had so many Morgan people visiting him over the years he decided to open a small hotel so they could stay there and it became a 3 year labour of love to build. He even has the original 1901 windows from the Morgan factory which he had restored and incorporated into his hotel.

 - Beautiful cars Jeane, thank you for letting us see them.

If I was very rich I'd love one, Jean would have a problem getting in and out of them though.

When we had our guest house, we had a very secure car-park and quite often we would have Morgan Owners club members stay with us on the way to France.
It was so lovely, just looking at them - we had a three-wheeler one once, must have been very old.

We also had (on a number of occasions) a car-park full of Harley's and I remember some very old Citroens too.

 - Lovely cars you've got there, Jeane. At the Rolls Royce exhibition in Dover they had a three wheeler in Market Square which was actually made by Messerschmitt, and parked next to it was a Moris Minor 1000. The funny part was the Spitfire flying overhead.

 - In the 60s I had a Messerschmitt it was so small with half a wheel to hold just like a plane but it could not go backwards but I only had it about 8weeks but it was fun and at that time I was in the army and posted in London.

 - I`ve always had a love for the Messerschmitt 109, Germany`s equivalent to our Spitfire/Hurricane. May get another kit one day and build another one.
- Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
- I preferred the BMW Isetta: -
And in Lagos we sometimes ran around in this, also from BMW:

 - Thanks Guys

Loved seeing the 3 wheelers (again) and in such perfect condition.

Is that the old "bubble-car" Sid ?
The Nigerian limo, looks much cleaner than most I've seen - did you take that photo, or are you in the back of it somewhere ?
