    there's no sound. My understanding is that any sound was recorded separately and then edited in so it may be that either there was none or it has been lost. There is a film record of a school trip to Corsica on this DVD too. I'll try and get a list of what else is on there and post it on here; there could be many familiar faces!
    To clarify my earlier post; some years ago my mum got the separate films put onto one reel and, more recently, the school produced a dvd for a member of staff who was leaving and gave my mum a copy as she had expressed an interest. I remember that film making was very popular at Astor but whether they all survived or not I do not know.
