  I often think the only way to deal with these youngsters and sometimes their parents is to destroy or remove something that belongs to them, for example their TV or computer, then they just might realise what it is like to loose something as most other punishments seem to have little effect. That would only work if these vandals can be identified which unfortunately seldom appears to happen.
