I think it's tragic that old whiny Jonson has gone to her grave without being reunited with the remains of her murdered 10 year old son.
All hand ringing politician, should be ashamed of them selves.
One police officer could have extracted this information from this monster years ago.
Preferably with a blow torch.

Keith S it was announced on the morning news this morning she had died.
For those that believe, mother and son are now reunited.

looks like a sick game is being played by brady over the document detailing the whereabouts of the little boys grave.
not a glimmer of remorse even now when he is close to death himself.

It's absolutely shocking. I hope the poor woman is at peace with her son now.

one of the experts in the area did say a lot of the ground will have moved since the 60's so the murderer is playing a very sick game

And what of the authorities that have kept this sick monster alive by force feeding him through his nose for 12 years!

Indeed Terry, if he hadn't have been force-fed, he would have been re-united with his victims a long time ago.

Pull on one thread:
And when brain dead
the body is but scrap.
Tug on another string:
And corporal is king
the body is the star.
Is it all about how
we leave the 'now'?
Could it be that we all, as car users, are equally likely to be killer as victim. So death by motor vehicle is the luck of the draw?

Yes Keith it is ,and its sad that this monster wasn't made to talk.
And his rights went before hers

Keith. I have long had sympathy for this lady who has been both, unable to properly grieve (find closure, as the Americans have it) and find peace through the constant/incessant reminders of and insistence upon her victim-hood.
You call for, "a cultural change in society". What is the change you call for?
Could it be that you would have our society turn to torture? Are we to combat like with like and create 'good' torturers?
What is your better way?

This poor Mother has gone through years of agony wondering where her little boy's body lay, she is at peace now and with her son.
An eye for an eye springs to mind, pity this monster is still alive

Tom, my better way would be where the victim's rights are always much more important than a convicted criminal which sadly does not always appear to be the case.
In Brady's case he should have been allowed to starve himself to death if that is what he really wanted.

Yes tom he should have been tortured.
It could have been, truth drugs for the liberals, but I would have preferred the family to extract it from him.
There is a case for torture, and execution of the worst offenders,
No body can persuade me that men like braydy ,Huntley, Levi Bellfield, deserved to have a life that is some what pampered, radios TV good food,
It's the wishes of the majority that the law have the tools to punish the worst among us.
Its not barbarism its justice .
I think if the fathers of the children killed by Huntley where given the opportunity to strangle Huntley it would bee very therapeutic for these families
