Last year I got called in for a GP appointment by a computer - after an annual checkup my results and profile were automatically analysed and the program decided I'd breached a threshold, next time my records were accessed there was a message from the computer for me to make an appointment.
Recently I got a replacement phone, by default a fancy Android one with all the gadgets and web browsing that I never wanted or use. I've just finished a half hour phone call to O2 after finding some charges for web access on my bill - "Oh yes sir, that's normal, your phone will be accessing the web automatically of its own accord, it's designed to do that" ! GGGGrrrrrrrr
I know I've got grumpy old man syndrome but is there any wonder, anyone else got any horror stories?
