  Disgusting. It just seems that no matter what it is, if it's not nailed down some sod will have it these days. Sadly, the model probably be found broken and dumped in a ditch somewhere in a few weeks when the new 'owner' finds he can't sell it.

  This is not the first model ship theft I have heard of. The other I know of was also in the North of England and perhaps there is more to it than mere mischief?

  This is a shocking state of affairs, as Phil says above 'If its not nailed down............' a sign of the times we live in I'm afraid Hope they find the thieving thugs.
