Wendy and I went to the Cinema yesterday.First time in 46 years. In those days we sat in the back row
the 2 and 9`s but didn`t see much of the films.......we saw this one.....and can recommend it highly...
`The Audience`.....Helen Mirren as the Queen and her Tuesday evening meetings with her 12 Prime Ministers.
Harold Wilson was her favorite.Very moving scene when he told her he had Dementia.
As he left her she said she and Phillip would be very pleased to have dinner at No 10 with him and Mary before he
retired.....only Churchill had been given that honour before.
