  I wonder how much of this 'unearned' income washes through communities, towns and high streets up and down the land?
  While a deal of may well find it's way across a bar here and there much too must go over the counters enabling many small and medium sized businesses to to tick over if not thrive.
  Take the recent tale of hardship when a waster turned upon his own.
  White goods and grey goods stolen perhaps to aid a get-away, the odd brass plaque also. Where do all these things go? Could it be that apart from some struggling bar-keeper there are other hard working businessmen driven/all too keen to see a profit in dealing with stolen goods.
  Perhaps we should change from cash payments to a voucher scheme and prosecute the businesses and black-market-traffickers that live by exploiting the current system.
  OR
  Let us simply remove the thousands/hundreds of thousands of pounds of 'unearned' income from each community etc. at one fell swoop.
  So what if in doing such a thing the newly (self made?) homeless squat in any or all of the newly disused shops and bars all along the high street...the out of town mega-store would still be there.
  Where has our leisure time gone, the time to stand and stare?
  "There is no thing more beautiful than a tree...that would stand here if it were not for that eye-sore of a council estate..."
  So, to the many here who have such vast experience of Local Affairs. Let us partake of the mental exercise of doing away with all such payments....what then?
  But of course we don't mean 'you', we mean this one there..it's he who is the real problem...
  
  Why not instead stand and marvel at the indomitability of the human spirit?
  
  Really, how long does one have to stand about to know than another does nothing with his day than drink?
