  Jan, Bob’s point is that most new ‘affordable’ housing in East Kent is being snapped up by London boroughs to accomodate their unemployed applicants, thus offloading the resulting social problems (demand for school places, lack of doctors and hospital provision, crime and ASB) onto KCC and the district councils of this area. He’s quite right that Kent ratepayers shouldn’t have to foot the bill for London’s Rejects.
