Just been reading about the Miners' Pensions and I can't honestly see what they are are moaning about.

They are all getting their pensions based on final year salary and linked to RPI
PLUS 50% of the [U]bonus[/U] from the [U]surplus[/U] earned by their fund (HMG takes the other 50% as a sort of insurance premium as they have guaranteed all future pension payments).
Looks like a pension arrangement most of us can only dream of?
