  not long seen the end of my summer stuff, the alyssum has finally given up the ghost.

  I saw daffodils in bloom in Rye on Christmas morning. Totally threw me. Never seen them in December before

  Im just seeing on the BBC ceefax thing that its the second warmest year ever..2011. Only 2006 was warmer.
  
  "Provisional figures show that only 2006, with an average temperature of 9.73C (49.5F), was warmer than 2011's average temperature of 9.62C (49.3F). "
  
  So sayeth the BBC.
  
  We also had the hottest spring ever this year, so the seasons are going bananas...to use a technical term there. Of course this is all to do with global warming isnt it? Could get even hotter in the years to come with all sorts of exotic creatures arriving in our waters..sharks even!!
  
  
  I believe a whale has been washed up in Kent today.
