Gary yes apart from the odd grisly murder or two there's nothing quite as nice as an English Village. Only last week some guy got it in the chest with a pitchfork..it brought about a very swift demise.
Of course you will note that a pitchfork was used, so twas very much in keeping with village and rural life. Not so however if they change the ethnic mix. It will gravitate downwards into 'Eastenders goes Rural'.
We all know the programme is fanciful anyway but we like fanciful, with very nice murders thrown in between the jam making and the rose growing.
