Today he has charged with 19 sex offences one against a child.
he was charged in 2011 where the case was dropped
now it appears the case has been reopened where a barrister is now after reviewing the evidence saying theres enough evidence to do him.
he denies all charges
coronation street taken him out of the street until its concluded

agreed jan but has been draging on a bit though.at first no case to answer and now they have looked again and desided to go ahead,so it brings in a bit of doubt.

I read that the original charges were dropped because of "insufficient evidence", the accused at that time thanked the Police profusely for exonerating him by their thorough investigations.
A little doubt indeed, but maybe not the doubt you thinking of Brian.

as keith pointed out a barrister has done a review of the evidence, maybe the dpp were wary of this chap being a household name then?

still some doubt there tom.it depends on what the cps presents in court,no doubt it will be reported at certain stages.
