  Vic, I find myself agreeing with you yet again this so-called regeneration has been going on for as long as Ican remember and there is still nothing done.
  Other councils have rebuilt, demolished and rebuilt again, we here just get promises and a bit more fencing.
  This Council has become complacent, stale and is in need of a change. Hopefully the blues might get a kick up the posterior in May and new councillors take over.
  Roger as for Vic being a pessimist, there isn't much to be optimistic about, the town is decaying and in some areas you can still see the aftermath of the second world war. It is little wonder that people from the cruise liners are bussed to Canterbury, I'd do the same
